Rare Apple Trainers In Auction For $50,000

The trainers were never sold to the general public. Instead, they were made for Apple employees in the 1990s and then handed out at a conference. The trainers, which feature the vintage rainbow Apple logo, were made by Omega Sports; and, says Sky News, their asking price “...comfortably tops Apple's existing products”

The auctioneer described the trainers as among "the most obscure in existence". It adds in the listing that their condition is “consistent with age” and "imperfections include yellowing around the midsoles and glue, and light marks on the toe boxes."
